Wine Courses

Next Course Dates:
Our next course will begin in September (dates to be announced).  The course runs from 7-9pm each Monday for five weeks, and bookings are being taken now.

The cost is £75 for 5 weeks of expert teaching from an experienced tutor. Includes 5-6 wines per week and all course materials. 

 

We already have 4 groups who have taken our beginner's course, and we are working on the dates for our next course. 

Many of the attendees were initially a bit worried about all sorts of things such as meeting new people, not knowing anything about wine, the course being boring, but I'm glad to say that all fears are always put to one side, and a lovely and interesting time is had by all. Can learning really be this much fun?!!? A big thank you to those involved in the first Beginners Wine Tasting Course. If you like wine and you want to learn more, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, this is the course for you. Our wine tutor took a relaxed but informative approach to making the world of wine more accessible and frankly much more fun. I learnt a huge amount in five weeks but even better I tasted some fantastic wines that I probably wouldn't have even considered and had a great deal of fun doing it!! The course was really interesting and moved at a good pace - not too slow or quick. The handouts were really useful and the wines were great - really brought the course material to life. I would happily have taken a longer course! Our tutor was knowledgeable and created a lovely rapport in the group. The wines were lovely and I always left feeling I had learned something new. Certainly up for another course! Colin Brown
