We will deliver to any mainland address in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands & Islands. We cannot deliver abroad or to a PO Box.
Standard delivery charge is £10, regardless of size of order.
If you change your mind you can return your purchases within 14 days for a refund (minus the cost of delivery), though you will be expected to pay the return delivery charge unless there is a problem which is the fault of Chester Beer & Wine. Refunds will be made once the goods are received back at Chester Beer & Wine. If the goods are lost or damaged during the return delivery the customer is expected to pay the cost of the damage or loss.
Vintages on wines do change & we reserve the right to substitute a more recent vintage to that advertised. This is unavoidable as Chester beer & Wine have no control over the new vintages and given the many hundreds of wines we stock we cannot always keep up with the vintage changes (though we try our best!) If you require a very specific vintage, please drop us a line or let us know when you order that you require a particular vintage. If a different vintage is delivered to that specified and you have not made us aware, them we will accept the return but will not pay the return delivery charge.
If products are faulty they must be returned to Chester Beer & Wine in order to obtain a replacement or refund.
Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery, and deliveries will be made during working hours Monday to Friday.
If you have a deadline by which you need your goods, please let us know so that we can advise you whether they will arrive in time or not.
If goods fail to arrive, it is your responsibility to make us aware. If your goods have not arrived after 5 working days from receipt of the ‘order despatched’ email from us, you must let us know so we can do something about it. If you do not let us know within 10 days of non-arrival we cannot ensure that you will receive your goods.
A signature is required upon delivery.
Goods delivered by courier must be packed in transit packaging and cannot be gift wrapped, though a gift message can be added when ordering.
We don’t like being so tough on our valuable customers – unfortunately we are bound by our carrier companies and they have extremely stringent conditions which we must work to.
