Achel Brewery or Brouwerij der Sint-Benedictusabdij de Achelse Kluis is a Belgian Trappist brewery, and the smallest of the Belgian Trappist breweries.
It is located in the Abbey of Saint Benedict in the Belgian municipality of Hamont-Achel.
Blonde 8° is a pale, strong, fruity, hoppy Trappist ale from one of Belgium’s six official abbey breweries.
This blond, flavourful beer is a surprisingly refreshing brew at 8% alcohol by volume. It is lightly filtered, but still wholesomely hazy with yeast remaining and refermenting in the bottle.
Sweet and crisp with citric hops (lemon, orange and grapefruit), rich sweet nutmeg, Champagne, caramel and a dry finish.
