Islay single malt from the Caol Ila distillery, bottled by the excellent Gordon & MacPhail for the Connoisseurs Choice range.
The whisky was distilled in 2002 and matured for 16 years in four first-fill bourbon barrels, before being bottled in November 2018.
A release of 1,100 bottles.
Aromas of grassy malt and soft smoke.
Flavours of salted butter and seaweed, sugared almond and lemon peel.
