Champagne Lemaire was founded in the late 19th century in the village of Hautvilliers in the heart of the Champagne region. It has been passed down the family and now export around the world with their production from just 13 hectares of land.
Cuvée Trianon (the flagship Cuvée of the Lemaire House) is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Matured in temperature controlled steel vats and the alcoholic fermentation is maintained at 16 degrees to preserve the wines delicate aromas. This champagne is their best awarded bottle.
Appearance : Pale gold, crystal clear, pearlescent bubbles.
Nose : Fresh youthful nose, yellow citrus flowers, orchard fruits with hints of fennel and cream, shortcake pastry.
Taste : Charming fine mousse, fruit jelly, pear and a mature finish with brioche tone.
Aging process : Minimum 4 years-old before selling.
Method : No malo-lactic fermentation, keeping the natural freshness of the grapes.
Dosage : Always Brut. Low sugar level (about 6 to 7g/l), only cane sugar.
Side Dish : Fish, foie gras, excellent as aperitif.
Grape Varietals : 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir.
