Chateau Martouret Bordeaux Superior 2016
A 45 hectare property planted on the stony, chalky limestone soils around the Commune of Nérigean in the Entre-Deux-Mers. The blend comprises 66% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc.
The average age of the vines is 25 years. The wine is vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and then receives 6 months ageing in barriques from the old family property Clos Fourtet.
A very consistent Claret and a great favourite.
Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
