Louis Jadot Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er Cru ‘Les Vergelesses’ Rouge 2016
Typically Savigny wines are lighter and more aromatic than those of Beaune 1er cru but with good tannic structure. The fruit character is often resonant of sweet cooked beetroot and is always very perfumed, with a floral charm to its aromatic lift. It is not a heavy or bold wine, being in the lighter spectrum, so best consumed relatively young in Burgundian terms – within 5 years of the vintage date.
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
