Cielo e Terra – Terre Allegre Sangiovese IGT Puglia 2018 – £7.50
A succulent, juicy red wine with savoury plum and cherry character which comes from the Southern Italian region of Puglia, the heel of Italy.
Easy drinking, beautifully soft tannins and a bright ripe fruity finish that really exhibits the Italian art of simple, beautiful wine making.
Waterkloof Estate – Percheron Old Vine Cinsault 2018 – £8.25
“This Cinsault is an untraditional style, where elegance and true character prevail over colour and intensity. Gently compelling with aromas of the earth and stony minerality.
The palate includes red fruits, cherries, a hint of spice and creamy refreshing acidity.
This is pure, elegant, restrained Cinsault.”
Valentin Bianchi ‘Finca Los Prados’ Cabernet / Malbec 2017 – £9.50
It’s a cracking wine and fantastic value for money. It has an intense ruby colour & the enticing berry fruit aromatics are followed by a palate that is smooth, has good intensity, a velvety structure and a pleasingly complex array of flavours.
Oyster Catcher – Rosé 2013 – £7.50
Lively and fragrant nose, fresh blackcurrant leaf and summer berry character with a lovely smooth off dry finish.
Aldridge Unwooded Chardonnay 2017 – £8.75
Aldridge unwooded chardonnay has green apple and pear aromas with upfront tropical fruit dominating the palate with some lingering white peach flavours. The mouthfeel is crisp and fresh, with a lingering finish.
False Bay Vineyards – Windswept Sauvignon Blanc 2019 – £8.50
Fresh and zesty with grassy and dry bay leaf aromatics, Fynbos (which surrounds the vineyards), mineral notes, with hints of richness, this is a restrained sauvignon blanc. The palate has lots of minerality and citrus with just a touch of green pepper and grass.
